2013年1月結成。ROCK、JAZZ、HIP HOPなどブラックミュージックにインスパイアされたSuchmos。メンバー全員神奈川育ち。Vo.YONCEは湘南・茅ヶ崎生まれ、レペゼン茅ヶ崎。

バンド名の由来は、スキャットのパイオニア、ルイ・アームストロングの愛称サッチモからパイオニアとなるべく引用。

YONCE (Vo), TAIKING (Gt), TAIHEI (Key), Kaiki Ohara (Dj), OK (Dr), 初期メンバーHSUに代わりRen Yamamoto (Ba)が正式加入。

2021年2月「修行の時期を迎えるため」バンドの活動の一時休止を発表。

2025年6月横浜アリーナ公演2DAYSを皮切りに再始動。

2026年5月から国内9都市18公演となる対バンツアー『The Blow Your Mind TOUR 2026』の開催。

Formed in January 2013, Suchmos is a Kanagawa-born band inspired by ROCK, JAZZ, HIP HOP, and other styles rooted in Black music. Frontman YONCE, born in Shonan–Chigasaki, proudly represents his hometown.

Their name is derived from Louis Armstrong’s nickname “Satchmo,” reflecting their aim to become pioneers themselves.

The lineup consists of YONCE (Vo), TAIKING (Gt), TAIHEI (Key), Kaiki Ohara (DJ), OK (Dr), and Ren Yamamoto (Ba), who officially joined following founding member HSU.

In February 2021, the band announced a temporary hiatus.

They came back in June 2025 with a two-night performance at Yokohama Arena.

In May 2026, they will embark on “The Blow Your Mind TOUR 2026,” a co-headlining tour across 9 cities with 18 shows.
